Twitter4teachers

Just found a website called Twitter4teachers that displayed many different ways to contact other teachers. This wiki was created to easily help educators find other educators on Twitter that have the same interests as them (that teach in the same content area). I looked thru the Science Teachers and found a teacher up in Reading whom I then contacted thru email. It looks like a great resource for all of us as we are trying to build these learning networks and contacts. Check this out! There is even a page to sign up for Twitter mentors!

  1. Not sure where you found this resource, but I want to point out that it is one of many wikis you will find on the i3 wiki roll page. http://tinyurl.com/yj53s84

  2. I think that is eventually how I got there! Was exploring the i3 pages and ended up on that twitter site...and have since made contact with a teacher up in Reading who then shared with me thru emails his current blog sites and wikis that he is using...as well as a facebook fan page that his students use for interacting with each other! We may actually sign on to a streaming session he is doing next Monday and have my class participate! Very cool!

  4. You're welcome..it's really cool to be now networking with another teacher from that site...and I am blown away by his class blog and website. Of course,, a young teacher in his 20's has a certain advantage!
